Join the League of Women Voters, the Cass County Historical Society and Bonanzaville for the celebration of the 100th anniversary of North Dakota’s ratification of the 19th amendment. The event is being held on Sunday, Dec. 1, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Student tickets are $20 and include cocktails, appetizers, a choice of one of three options for dinner and a presentation from our very own professor at NDSU; Dr. Ashley Bagget. Her presentation is titled, “Failure is Impossible: Overcoming Opposition to the 19th Amendment.” This presentation will be followed by Ruth Buffalo giving remarks on voting rights today.

After the remarks and food, the FM Kicks Band will perform from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Bonanzaville will also unveil their new exhibition “We Want the Vote: 100 Years of Women’s Suffrage” at this time. Tickets can be purchased on Bonanzaville.org under the events tab.
