Campus will soon be a cold, desolate place in which is void of any signs of human life.
Squirrels will still thrive through winter, though, and too look to rejoice at the thought of spring.
I ask of you, my campus comrades; don’t forget our furry friends.
Don’t forget to stop and admire the adorableness of a cuddly tree-rat when one shall poke its head out to embrace the cold death of winter.
Don’t forget to continue to feed them your extra goldfish crackers or your stolen food from the dining centers. Yes, freshmen, I’m talking about you.
Squirrels should serve as a reminder to us two-legged freaks of nature that we are lucky.
We get to go home to warm food that we burrow in our warm houses, free of snow and predators.
Our largest worries stem from missing an exam or crashing our cars on a slippery road, not from literally dying form cold.
Be warm, be happy, be lucky and have a good winter break BisoNation.
