On Nov. 3, ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ hits theaters as the third installment of the ‘Thor’ franchise.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Tomorrow Nov. 3, Marvel\u2019s next movie \u201cThor: Ragnarok,\u201d directed by Taika Waititi, makes its debut.<\/p>\n

There is not much that can be said about the film before it comes out, but I can give a couple of details from the trailers about what can be expected.<\/p>\n

If you have not seen the trailer for \u201cThor: Ragnarok<\/a>,\u201d I suggest you check it out because it shows some awesome scenes.<\/p>\n

One scene I am excited for is the Thor and Hulk fight.<\/p>\n

Thor has been captured, and he has been placed into a gladiator, coliseum-like building. The trailer does not show how Thor ends up in the coliseum, but it does show him preparing for a fight. After an announcement that is cut short, the Hulk jumps out of a gate opposite of Thor.<\/p>\n

The trailer does show a couple of smidges of the two combatants duking it out, but nothing too substantial.<\/p>\n

I find this, to put it bluntly, awesome.<\/p>\n

Thor and Hulk are two of the Marvel Universe\u2019s strongest beings, and a fight between them has got to be amazing. They are still friends, as seen later when Thor and Dr. Banner are exchanging banter about them fighting.<\/p>\n

The next exciting bit is the plot of the movie, which is shown in the title \u201cRagnarok.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ragnarok, very briefly, is an ancient Norse cycle that happens every 2,000 years that destroys the earth and kills all the gods and subsequently creates everything anew.<\/p>\n

Odin the All-Father created Thor to stop this cycle.<\/p>\n

What we see in the trailer is that a goddess named Hela appears to be in total control of Ragnarok, and it looks as if Thor may not be able to stop her (but honestly, who are they kidding). That may lead to an exciting element to the movie.<\/p>\n

Along with a multitude of new characters, we also get to see some old ones come back as well.<\/p>\n

Loki, Thor\u2019s brother, who has been the bad guy in past films, will be, as seen in the trailer, teaming up with Thor to stop the apocalypse.<\/p>\n

Doctor Strange, whose reason for being in the film is unclear as of right now, will also be making an appearance. To fix this conundrum, I suggest checking out the movie when it hits theaters tomorrow.<\/p>\n

That is all that I found somewhat interesting from the trailer, but that does not mean that that will be the only watchable portions of the movie. I hope.<\/p>\n
