How to roast pumpkin seeds

After carving your pumpkins, take advantage of the pumpkin seeds by popping them in the oven to enjoy when watching a spooky movie. After all, it’s almost Halloween.

If wanting to have the salt be ingrained in the pumpkin seeds, boil them with hot water and salt (roughly 5-10 minutes). This way, the salt is added evenly throughout the seeds. On the baking sheet, add virgin oil and layer the sheet with pumpkin seeds. Bake all the seeds at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Once they turn golden brown you can pull them out of the oven to cool.

If wanting to make your pumpkin seeds a different flavor, simply add cinnamon sugar, chili powder or any other seasoning before going into the oven. Have fun snacking.
