After what has been a tremendous fall for the team, the Herd strikes again. The win marks the team’s third win of the fall and fourth Top-3 spot of the season.

The Bison finished with a 14-under-par 838 over three rounds. The team opened the tournament with a two-under 282 and finished the final two rounds with a pair of six-under 278s.

Adams paved the way for the NDSU with a 10-under-par 203. The win marks his first tournament win and highest finish of the fall. Adams shot a pair of five-under 66s to start the tournament. He finished with an even 71 to solidify his win in the tournament.

Gavin Cronkhite shot a one-under 212 to earn seventh place. The junior stayed even through the first two rounds and finished with a one-under 70 to close out the tournament.

Sophomore Ian Simonich tied for eighth with an even 213. Simonich struggled in the first two rounds posting a three-over-par 144 in the first two rounds. He buckled down in the final round shooting a 68 in the third round, the team’s best third round score.

Brock Winter shot a two-over 215; the junior tied for 14th. Winter recovered his score after a pair of two-under 69s, fought off a tough six-over 77 in the opening round.

Senior Nate Deziel tied for 16th with a three-over 216. Deziel shot one-over 72s in all three rounds of the tournament.

The Bison ended their fall campaign and will look to continue the success from the fall half. In an interview prior to the season, the team said they are still looking to earn redemption after falling just short in the Summit League Championship tournament last season. The team lost by just one stroke to the victorious University of Denver.

The team’s schedule will start to crank up after the holiday break and the Bison will open their spring half on Saturday, Feb. 18 at The Club at Savannah Harbor in Savannah, Ga.
