New Promotions and Entertainment Coming to NDSU Football Game Day
Fans attending North Dakota State University football games this fall will be treated to several new promotions and entertainment features.
The enhancements are being made as a result of feedback received in a fan survey after the 2021 season and are designed for Bison fans to engage, interact and win.
Among new in-game promotions, the Gate City Bank Text to Win gives fans the opportunity to win prizes such as a NDSU Bumpboxx, LED cornhole board and NDSU Solo Stove. and the Scheels Ball Toss will include gift cards with 10 of the balls. Buffalo Wild Wings will be sponsoring the false start counter rewarding fans with free wings after two false starts.
The familiar Petro Serve USA T-Shirt Toss will get an upgrade with a Gatling T-shirt gun launching 50 shirts at a time into the Fargodome crowd. T-shirts are a limited edition only available to fans on game day.
Several regular-season home games will include premium promotional giveaways, including custom LED foam sticks provided by Gate City Bank for homecoming versus Youngstown State.
A number of visual elements have also been added to the Bison Game Day experience.
Graphics have been updated for the videoboards, which will feature new promotions, animations and videos created by NDSU’s award-winning multimedia department. And, the popular Bison pre-game introduction will be enhanced with a light show from two custom light towers positioned near the team’s entrance.
Outside, the widely acclaimed tailgating lots on the west side of the Fargodome will have new food options and attractions.
Thunder Alley will add two food trucks, Twisted Spork and Lupe’s Tacos, where fans who don’t have their own tailgating spot can purchase food, and the Bison Corral beer garden will be open to the public featuring a 16-foot by 9-foot mobile video board showing the WDAY Bison GameDay pregame show and other college football games and video content.
New Process Announced for Football Tickets for Students
Students, to request your tickets for football games this season, go to GoBison.com/Students and log in with your electronic ID. New to the process this season is student tickets will become available at 6 p.m. on the Saturday prior to the game you desire to attend. For example, if you wish to attend the UND game on Nov. 19th, those tickets will be available at GoBison.com/Students at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12th. Fan Code of Conduct Established for Bison Football Games
The Fargodome and NDSU Athletics have added beer and seltzers to concession stand offerings for Bison football games during the upcoming 2022 season.
Final points of sale are being determined, but sales will be allowed stadium-wide until the beginning of the fourth quarter and consumption will be allowed in all seating sections.
With the expectation of maintaining an exciting and safe game day experience, the following Fan Code of Conduct and Alcohol Management Plan has been developed to ensure a fan-friendly atmosphere. Fans who choose not to adhere to the Code of Conduct will be subject to penalties including, but not limited to, removal without refund, revocation of season tickets, and/or prevention from attending future games. They may also be in violation of local ordinances resulting in possible arrest and prosecution.
