A local event you can’t miss

The Red River Market’s fall festival is back

CASSANDRA TWEED | THE SPECTRUM

On Saturday, October 5 from 10am-2pm the Red River Market will be hosting their annual fall festival.

Where is it located?

A space on the corner of 4th Street and First Avenue

What Should I expect?

Expect a ton of fun!

The Red River Market has live music lined up, from 10am with Zippy Laske an electronic folk pop musician followed by our very own gold star marching band, and to finish it off some contemporary polka.

Take advantage of the free fall photo booth and fall face painting (let’s admit it, we all want to take a photo with pumpkins, sweet corn, and an old red pick up truck in the background)

Other notable activities listed are live pottery demonstrations put on by the Plains Art Museum and Science Experiments (put on by our very own Physics club at NDSU).

What are we forgetting?

Of course, the vendors. The Red River Market has vendors that range from selling bakery items, hot food, produce, beverages, and local artists.

So what’s stopping you? Have fun, eat all the delicious food with your friends (or just yourself, no judgement) and don’t forget to take wonderful fall photo’s with friends and family!

After all, it’s fall ya’ll. Need I say enough?
