The NDSU Clay Target Club had practice on Tuesday and Sunday this week. On Tuesday, September 20th, CJ Schlosser, Nathan Schults, Zach Wisecup, Phillip Bruno, and Emma Arstein all shot 25’s in trap. We had a small practice on Sunday, September 25th, Michael Ruhland was the lucky shooter of the day who shot 50 straight!
On Saturday, September 24th, the club hosted the 3rd Annual Bison Blast at The Shooting Park of Horace. We had a great turnout with shooters from the University of North Dakota, the University of Minnesota Crookston, Bismarck State College, the University of Jamestown, the University of Minnesota Duluth, South Dakota State University and Valley City State University. NDSU’s Clay Target Club pulled through with a first-place win in team trap with our two lead shooters being Emma Arstein, who won high female, and Austin Weippert, who placed 2nd for males. Savana Rasmussen also put NDSU’s name on the leader board for skeet with her high female award. Thank you to everyone who came out to support our club for this event!
The NDSU Clay Target Club Halloween Fun Run is right around the corner! We have extended the pre-registration to October 3rd you can register the morning of the run which will be held on October 22nd, and we would love to see you there!
