NASA plans to put people’s names onto a dime-sized microchip aboard an Orion spacecraft set to launch Dec. 4.
The test flight will circle Earth a few times before landing in the Pacific Ocean.
Names and other information are required; information can be found on NASA’s website.
The names will also fly on future NASA exploration flights and missions to Mars.
Each name submitted receives a personal “boarding pass,” and each flight accrues frequent flyer points.
The deadline to enter for the first test flight is Oct. 31.
