Miranda Lambert partners with 4 Luv of Dog Rescue for Fargo concert

Concert goers who donate have chance at meet and greet before Oct. 17 show

Country artist Miranda Lambert is offering concert-goers a chance to win a meet and greet before the Fargo stop on her Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars tour Oct. 17. All you have to do is donate to 4 Luv of Dog Rescue through Lambert’s Fill the Little Red Wagon drive.

The partnership is between Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation and 4 Luv of Dog Rescue for the Fargo date only and requires concert-goers to donate at least one item to be entered.

Donations will be received starting at 4:30 p.m., Oct. 17 in the Fargodome’s east lobby. The winner of the meet and greet will be randomly selected at 6:30 p.m.

Lambert started the foundation in 2009 with her mother to help rescue shelters and the dogs they care for. According to the MuttNation Foundation’s website, Lambert has been involved with rescues for most of her life.

“Miranda’s love for animals has always been an important part of who she is,” it continues, ‘While volunteering at local shelters, she adopted her first pup Delilah as a companion when she started touring.”

The foundation’s Fill the Little Red Wagon” campaign, sponsored by Tractor Supply, will be collecting donations at the Fargodome.

In addition, to Fill the Little Red Wagon, MuttNation also engages in adoption drives at some of Lambert’s concerts, the CMA Awards and at the Grand Ol’ Opry; emergency disaster relief and provides funds to support shelters in every US state through their Mutts Across America program.

4 Luv of Dog Rescue is a non-profit shelter in Fargo relying entirely on grants and donations to operate. They rescue dogs regardless of breed, age or disability. Since 2005, approximately 4,000 rescued dogs have found love in their forever homes through the rescue.

Donations suggested by 4 Luv of Dog Rescue include:

FROMM classic dry dog food (available at Natural Pet Center)

Soft treats, pill pockets and peanut butter

Large natural bones, marrow bones, benebones, nylabones and bully sticks

Dasuquin joint supplements and potty pads

Martingale collars and 1” leashes

Paper towels and bottled water

Gift certificates to Natural Pet Center, PetSmart, Petco, Fleet Farm, et cetera
