Pepper

Meet Pepper, a 10-year-old Lhasa Apso mix. He was surrendered to Homeward Animal Shelter Jan. 28.

He had a previous home, so he is very lovable. Anyone he meets he automatically adores, and he rarely barks at those walking by.

If you are looking for a first time pet and never want to have a cat, he is perfect for you because he hates cats too.

Pick him up, set him on your lap and have a cuddle buddy forever.

Griffin

Meet Griffin, a domestic shorthaired orange tabby male. He is 4.5 years old. Griffin was transported from the Fargo City Animal Pound to Homeward Animal Shelter Feb. 1.

Unlike most cats that walk away and do not enjoy your presence, he enjoys when you pet around his face. He will even push up against your hand, asking for more pets.

He does not like other cats, so if you do not have any or expect a lot, he is perfect for you.

Give him a forever home for a sweetheart’s special of only $40 up until Feb. 17.
