A body was found in Mahnomen County Thursday night. Police are investigating the cause of death.
On Friday, police identified the body to be Francis Brown’s. It was discovered at about 6 p.m. in a wooded area of Naytahwaush, Minn., the county’s sheriff’s office said.
Cause of death will be determined by the coroner in Grand Forks.
Brown’s body was found about 300 yards away from where his vehicle was found, police said at Friday’s press conference.
